What is Flow State Guiding? FSG offers catered, multi-day helicopter-supported mountain bike adventures in the remote alpine. Guests enjoy world-class riding on massive, featured granite slabs, with the comfort of a modular base camp featuring luxurious dome tents, a sauna, firepit, kitchen, and communal hangout—similar to heli-skiing or ski touring lodges, but designed for summer alpine mountain biking.
Where are your trips located? Our tenure resides in the heart of the Coast Mountains, over 50km from the Sunshine Coast, 125km northwest of Squamish or 150km (as the crow flies) from Vancouver.
What makes your trips different from other mountain bike experiences? We combine the thrill of helicopter-assisted slab riding with the luxury of a fully equipped base camp, nestled amongst a pristine alpine cirque. Booking & Preparation
How do I book a trip? Visit our booking page, choose a package and available dates. A 25% deposit is required to secure your spot, with full payment due closer to the trip date.
What should I pack? We provide a detailed packing list, however, essentials include your bike (equipped with fresh tires and brake pads), helmet, pads (knee, elbow or neck / back protector), gloves, riding glasses, riding shoes and hut booties or comfortable sandals, day pack (with hydration bladder). Everything you pack must fit into your day pack on the final descent day and our helicopters has weight limits, so pack light!
What happens in the event of foul weather? Safety is our priority. Although dates are during the heat of summer, if weather prevents helicopter access or riding, we’ll adjust the itinerary or provide alternative dates. Similar to heli-skiing, our trips are reliant on appropriate weather, so please consider possible itinerary changes while booking flights / travel with a 2-3 day buffer either side of your tour. In the event we do not have the weather or conditions (smoke, heavy rain, etc.) to safely operate, our lead guide will make the call to cancel and your balance will be refunded or applied to a future date.
Pricing & Policies
How much do trips cost? Pricing varies by trip length and group size – visit our booking page or contact us for current rates and availability (pricing ranges from $3900-$6500 per rider).
What is your cancellation policy? Cancellations made 90+ days before the trip receive a full refund. Within 60-90 days your deposit may be applied to a future date, with lesser notice, refunds depend on our ability to fill your spot. Full details are available at booking.
Is travel insurance recommended? Yes, we strongly recommend travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances like injury, weather delays, or cancellation. We can suggest further providers if needed.
